FROM OLD HARBOR

We are on Spring Street approximately one mile from Old Harbor (downtown Block Island)

(Driving time to the Church from Old Harbor is less than ten minutes.  Walking time is 25-30 minutes.)

From downtown Block Island on Water Street near the Old Harbor Ferry dock, proceed past the Rebecca statue and up Spring Street past the Hotel Manisses and the Spring House Hotel. Continue ¼ mile past the Spring House and we will be on your left – the Church is not particularly visible from Spring Street but you will see the familiar Episcopal Church sign on Spring Street next to our driveway. Turn left from Spring Street and proceed approximately 50 yards down our driveway and the entrance to the Church is marked by another St. Ann’s sign and will be on your left. If you go around the “S” curve on Spring Street and find yourself at the SE Light you have gone too far!

FROM NEW HARBOR

We are on Spring Street – a short drive to the other side of the Island from New Harbor. From New Harbor, starting at Dead Eye Dick’s, proceed up Ocean Avenue (traveling away from Dead Eye’s and the Salt Pond) to the “T” intersection of Ocean Avenue and Beach Avenue. At the “T” intersection, turn right onto Beach Avenue and then an immediate left back onto Ocean Avenue which will take you toward downtown Block Island and Old Harbor. Stay on Ocean Avenue approximately one mile until you reach the 4-Way Stop. Proceed straight through the 4-Way Stop at which point Ocean Avenue becomes, briefly, Dodge Street. As you move up Dodge Street away from the 4-Way Stop, and shortly after you pass the Block Island Free Library on the right, Dodge Street curves 90 degrees to the right and becomes Water Street. Proceed up Water Street to the Rebecca statue traffic circle. Proceed around the traffic circle and past the Rebecca statue and up Spring Street past the Hotel Manisses and the Spring House Hotel. Continue ¼ mile past the Spring House and we will be on your left – the Church is not particularly visible from Spring Street but you will see the familiar Episcopal Church sign on Spring Street next to our driveway. Turn left from Spring Street and proceed approximately 50 yards down our driveway and the entrance to the Church is marked by another St. Ann’s sign and will be on your left. If you go around the “S” curve on Spring Street and find yourself at the SE Light you have gone too far! From New Harbor, driving time is approximately a 15-minute drive and a walk of perhaps three (3) miles.
